Terms And Conditions


All prices are for each fish (unless otherwise stated) in US Dollars.
Payments are processed using our web store check out. We accept VISA, Mastercard, Amex, and debit cards through PayPal only. 
On line purchase is preferred. For customer who don't like online purchase can email us directly the order  at with detail shipping information, phone number and email address. We will send you a Paypal invoice with all the order information. Please note that you don't need to have a Paypal account to pay the Paypal invoice. 
Alternatively, just call us at 510-468-1930 to place your order. We accept all major credit card.
We ship within the United States using UPS next day air service or next day ground service to customer in the California, Arizona and Nevada. Hawaii customers are required and responsible to obtain an Import Permit from the Department of Agriculture and shipping cost will be quoted depends on the order. At present we do not ship outside of the United States. Local pick up is not available. A physical shipping address is required. Our carriers will not deliver to a P.O. Box.
We offer a flat rate shipping for $54 by UPS next day air (except to Hawaii and Alaska where the shipping cost is to be determined for each order and is usually more than $54). You can order as many fish as you like to one shipping address. This cost will be automatically added to your order at check out. Order multiple fish to take advantage of this flat rate shipping.  
For customers reside in California (with zip code from 90001 to 96162), Arizona (with zip code from 85001 to 86556) and Nevada (with zip code from 88901 to 89883), the flat rate shipping will be $29 by next day ground service.  The delivery time is before 5pm.         

We ship out daily from Monday to Wednesda for Tuesday to Thursday delivery. Please inform us at time of order if any specific receiving day is preffered. There will be no Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday delivery.   

Appropriate sales tax will be added if you are a California resident.
We guarantee live on delivery.  DOA (Dead On Arrival) claim will be honored by a full refund on DOA fish. We will consider shipping refund in situation like lost shipment and DOA caused by long delay of the carrier. 
Any claim of Dead on Arrival (DOA) shall be made immediately on arrival of the package. The arrival time is defined as the time the courier attempt to make the first delivery. It is utmost important that you or someone available to receive the shipment. 
Any claim of DOA shall be reported immediately and no longer than 4 hours after the delivery to with proof of a digital photo of the dead fish. The picture should be a focused close up picture of the dead fish inside the bag.
DOA will not be honored due to customer not receiving or late receiving the shipment from the courier or shipping company.
We will not honor any claim after the fish is removed from the original shipping bag. 
All live fish sales are final; no returns will be accepted under any circumstances.


We have two types of inventory in our store. The inventory with actual picture of the fish can be found in the "Fish With Picture" icon. For example "Ranchu With Picture", "Oranda With Picture" etc. 

All other inventory are represented by stock photos. These stock images show the typical quality of the fish at their respective size and maturity. For example, the small size fish are actual picture from a group of 1.5" to 2.5" fish and same for the medium and large size fish. We think this is absolutely important to set the right expectation than to mislead our customer with picture of exceptional high quality fish with difference maturity.   
We ship only healthy high quality fish. They are simply beautiful and cost less. 
For fish shows with picture, the size will be the approximate size specified in inches from lips to end of tail.
For stock fish, small is typical 1.5 to 2.5", medium is typical 3 to 4" and large is typical 4.5 to 5.5". Fish types with shorter finnage usually at the lower end of the size range. 
We reserve the right not to sell to anyone at any time without reason.
In cases where the fish is no longer up for sale, we will notify you as soon as possible. We will cancel your order and issue a full refund or credit for other fish.
